Yo braddah.

Yo, let's get this thing going.

Ok, let's do it.

Why do you skateboard?

I skate because theres nobody telling you what to do, and you can do it any time. It puts my mind at peace.

How long have you been skateboarding for?

I hate this question. Since I was 4 or 5 off on...but really since around 2000 I guess.

Who have you been shredding with lately?

Lately OG and Scott Ross, Matt Crowne, Erik Sammartino, Bill Knight and Devon Connell.

How do you like skating and filming with the DSOTE Crew?

I love it. I pretend that I'm filming for Fully Flared. All the guys that skate together get hyped off each other.

You plan on making any skate trips in the near future?

Probably to Philly. I wanna head to Washington D.C. because there's a lot of sick street spots there.

Why not shred the dolphin at your dock?

I probably could actually, but I'd have to land on a bulkhead.

I've heard a bunch of nicknames for you, what's your favorite?

Definitely Barretta.

I've heard you're a mean sailor with a sick cap, is this true?

Yeah, I charter ships down stairs and rails. I navigate pretty well down a stair rail. If I didn't, my family jewels would be extinct, and there wouldn't be any more Barretts.

I've seen you shred on a few different types of boards. Are you going to be killing it on a snowboard this winter?

Yup.

What about on a surfboard?

I've been surfing alot when theres good waves. I can still can bust an air.

What'd you do last winter when the cold weather and snow came our way?

Last winter, I moved up to Vermont for a couple of months and worked at Stowe Mountain. I got a chance to really dial in some snowbaording maneuvers.

What are your plans for this winter season?

Go out to Cali, hang out with Joel and Nick, and skate all the good spots. Surf and snowbaord all in one day. I might possibly go to Barbados for a few weeks in November.

What kind of music do you like to listen to?

I used to listen to alot of rap. Now I mostly listen to some rock or whatever's on the radio. Older Rock and Roll, too.

Are you a big fan of people who wear head phones while skating?

I think it's cool when you're by yourself, but when you're with a group, you're just shutting yourself out. But it can put you in a good groove for sure.

Tell me the story about the guy that came to the barrier spot in Somers Point?

Some guy rolled out, asking what we were doing. We said "just shooting photos", and my board was behind the barrier. He must not have seen it. When he got back in his car, I went back to trying to get the front board shot, and I got it. He came out screaming before I rolled away two feet. He was threatening to take my board, and told me that I wasn't going anywhere. I told him to get away from me, or I said I'd knock him out with my board. Then he told me he was gonna kill me. I hopped into my car and drove off. Then he started chasing me. When he caught up to my car, he opened my door and started yelling my license plate number to the cops on his phone. Since my door war open, I was yelling out a bunch of random numbers to confuse them while I was turning onto the main street. Then I was gone.

Yeah he ended up catching up to me instead. Any ways, what is your favorite warehouse or building you've broken into to skate?

E-Comp.

What about Spice?

It wasn't my favorite but, it was the original and the coolest. It's right across the street from my house, and it had the whole bar vibe. The one night we were in there and saw a cop at the back door with his car. We had no time to grab our lights, so we just ran out. I made it to my house and eventually the cops saw my buddies walking to their cars in my lot, and they put two and two together. Then the owner started talking about restitution, and wanting to make an example out of us. The charges ended up getting dropped and I had to sneak in a coupe nights later through the top door to get my lights out. It was a James Bond mission.

Any other stories?

One time, I was skating this kinked wooden rail down the street from my house, and the next door neighbor came out side for a talk. First he asked me if I thought it was funny falling into the bushes next to the rail, Then he watched for a little, and told me to "give it a break, chief." It was funny because the chief (Sean Doyle) was actually there filming. I told him I was taking one more try, and I got the trick on that try
